We finally made to the riverfront only to learn that Valerie could not rent a bicycle because she had not brought along her passport to use as security. We roamed around for a few minutes looking at the art work and watching the river flow by - before heading back across the street to rummage through the small shops. Valerie, as is her custom, made a few friends while we were there!
