Island Hopper
As we were taking one last drive around Ie Shima, Murphy suddenly yelled from the backseat: "Go back, go back! I just saw some kids taking pictures of giant tortoises!" And after circling back, we discovered that he had been right. The kids were standing outside of a walled-in enclosure that contained a couple of dozen giant tortoises. It wasn't a zoo - just someone's private collection. Those big fellas were quite a surprise!
