Vietnam 18: The Road to Hue: The Top of the Mountain

The drive over the mountains took a couple of hours.  At the very peak we stopped for a restroom break at a gift shop.  Directly across the road were some fortifications from the war including a bunker and a Buddhist shrine.  We were literally in the clouds, but the sun did peek through for a brief moment.  The lady salespeople at the gift shop were vicious and unrelenting.  I wound up buying some jewelry for a few of my relatives.

I didn't get but a couple of decent pictures due to the low cloud cover.
